JOB DESCRIPTION.
At Mascots SA we create Animatronic characters to be used for Film, TV and Corporate Campaigns. We are seeking a graduate to join our team based at our studios in Woodstock. This position will suit a creative, cheerful individual who is self motivated, has good analytical skills and enjoys challenges. We are a busy organisation and often work against tight deadlines making this an exciting and vibrant environment.
What We Expect from You:
To assist in the design and development of our Animatronic Characters and controllers.
Be a team player, self motivated and problem solver in order to create engaging and functional Animatronics.
Perform ‘on-site’ maintenance to ensure reliable and robust installations.
Assist with the installation of the Animatronic characters and associated products. This can involve travel around SA and beyond.
Provide on-line technical support to clients where required..
Good communications skills.

Skills and Qualifications You Need:
Ideally you will have a degree in Robotics or Mechanical Engineering.
Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar.
Be creative, self motivate and able to work independently or in a team.

Salary relative to experience but starting salary offered R10 000,00 – R15 000,00 per month
