Our client in Centurion is looking for a GM: IP Networks to lead network strategy, architecture, and engineering, ensuring scalable, secure infrastructure for next-generation connectivity and enterprise services.
Qualifications
- BEng/BSc in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 10+ years’ experience in ISP/Telco environments.
- Minimum 5 years in senior leadership or network architecture roles.
- Expert certifications (CCIE, JNCIE) highly advantageous.
- Deep knowledge of BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, and IPv

Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute long-term IP network strategy and roadmap.
- Lead capacity planning and traffic engineering for scalability.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate CAPEX budgets.
- Oversee network security architecture and risk mitigation.
- Enable new Layer 2 and Layer 3 product offerings.
