Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook to join our team. Looking to train a motivated candidate to become a GM. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management, with an emphasis on creating delicious pizzas in a fast-paced environment. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of high quality, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Manage kitchen operations during shifts, including inventory control and equipment maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and timely meal preparation.
- Responsible for Training/Hiring
- Responsible for Ordering Trucks and Inventory Counts
- Responsible for Weekly Schedules
- Monitor portion sizes and waste to help maintain budgetary goals.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including cooking stations and equipment.
- Be Reliable and Consistent
Experience
- Previous experience as a Pizza Cook or in a similar food preparation role is preferred.
- Knowledge of fine dining standards and casual dining operations is beneficial.
- Familiarity with kitchen management practices, including budgeting and team management skills.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices is essential.
- Experience with interviewing potential kitchen staff is a plus, as well as assisting in team management efforts.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
