General Worker – ANAX SERVICES Jobs in East London at ANAX LOGISTICS (PTY)LTD
MAIN PURPOSE OF POSITION
The main purpose of this position is to support Daimler Truck South Africa (DTSA) with unpacking/unboxing of parts boxes in the Logistics Material Handling Department.
MAIN TASK
1) Opening of boxes with parts as per standard work instruction (SWI)
2) Packing/sorting returnable empties (exports) as per SWI
3) Packing one-way packaging (cardboard packaging) empties for movement to waste area
4) Allocate required trolley types to the unboxing area
5) Assist DTSA unboxing personnel with heavy or awkward parts decanting.
6) Remove any waste from parts trollies
7) Report damaged parts to the supervisor or DTSA Team leader
8) Assist in any area within Logistics Material Handling Department when requested by DTSA
9) Ensure good housekeeping on the shopfloor
10) Help maintain a safe and orderly work environment
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
1) Matric Certification (Grade 12)
2) Basic knowledge to safety and effectively uses power tools
3) Good time management
