Salary: R5,800 – R6,000 (Negotiable Depending on Experience) | Live Out
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a dedicated General Worker for a prestigious luxury wine estate located in Franschhoek
. This role is ideal for a hands-on, team-oriented individual with a passion for sustainability, landscaping, and working outdoors.
Inherent Requirements:
Matric certificate would be advantageous
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Experience and Skills:
Familiar with the mixing of soils and fertilizers
Experience with making and transplanting seedlings and cuttings
Skilled in planting and maintaining various plants and landscaped areas
Ability to assess plant and soil health to ensure optimal growing conditions
Clear and timely communication to support efficient work processes
Ability to safely operate gardening tools and equipment
Strong team player with a proactive work ethic
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain gardens and landscaped areas across the estate, ensuring plant health, visual appeal, and alignment with the property’s aesthetic standards
Prevent damage to tools and equipment and minimize supply losses
Participate in general farm and landscaping duties as assigned
Adhere to health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
