Duties
- Oversee the organization and cleanliness of the merchandising area to create an inviting shopping experience.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring that stock is replenished as needed while minimizing waste.
- Utilize POS systems for cash handling and transactions, ensuring accuracy in cash register operations.
- Supervise team members, providing guidance and support to enhance productivity and teamwork.
- Collaborate with management to implement promotional displays and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist in training new staff on merchandising techniques and operational procedures.
Experience
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team effectively.
- Familiarity with Adobe software for creating promotional materials is a plus.
- Experience with cash handling, including operating cash registers and managing transactions.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail in inventory management.
- Previous experience in retail or merchandising roles is preferred but not required.
- Ability to maintain a clean environment while managing stock efficiently.
