Purpose of the job:
To direct sales and support team development, market strategy creation, and monthly purchasing and pricing policies to achieve revenue targets of the company.

Required Qualifications

Grade 12, Sales or Marketing Qualification – preferred.

Must be able to work on Excel spreadsheets

Must have Tyre/Wheel Industry experience

Technical Competencies & Experience:

Driving Organizational Profitability:
Maximise the company’s overall bottom-line performance and financial growth.

Working Capital & Cash Flow Management:
Optimise collections to consistently meet creditor and banking obligations on maturity.

Risk & Credit Mitigation:
Assess key customer creditworthiness through on-site visits and enforce strict compliance with credit terms.

Key Account Management:
Oversee sales operations for tier-one clients to consistently achieve strategic volume targets.

Strategic Market Expansion:
Drive sustainable sales growth while maintaining optimal, margin-protective pricing structures.

Performance Monitoring:
Evaluate and track branch-level sales performance and collection metrics against corporate KPIs.

Strategic Procurement:
Negotiate competitive pricing with global suppliers and manage monthly production forecasting and ordering.

Inventory Lifecycle Management:
Implement targeted liquidation strategies to reduce Year-of-Manufacture (YOM) and slow-moving stock.

Stock Optimization:
Maintain an agile inventory mix to meet demand, ensuring slow/non-moving stock remains below 10% of total holdings.

Competitive Intelligence:
Gather and analyse market insights regarding competitor pricing strategies and commercial activities.

Strategic Marketing Execution:
Design and execute comprehensive monthly marketing initiatives to drive brand demand.

Market-Aligned Innovation:
Align procurement with evolving market trends and supplier product development pipelines.

Executive Reporting:
Compile and present comprehensive monthly executive summaries and Market Status Operational Reports (MSOR) to regional leadership.

Knowledge Transfer:
Formulate and deliver structured product training programmes for internal teams and external clients.
