Position: General Manager Location: Rustenburg, North West Type: Permanent About Us We are a Funeral Co-operative seeking a skilled and dedicated General Manager to join our team in Rustenburg. The successful candidate will be an experienced business leader with a focus on financial management, strategic implementation, and operational efficiency. Your Role As the General Manager, you will oversee the development and implementation of our Co-operative's strategy in consultation with the Board. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of corporate citizenship, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, and fostering business growth through innovative measures in the funeral industry. Key Responsibilities Developing and implementing internal controls and business management systems Managing financial, risk, procurement, and human resources effectively Communicating effectively with management, the board, and key stakeholders Applying creative strategies for business growth Ensuring compliance with all laws, standards, and policies Implementing Board decisions and directives Qualifications SAQA accredited B. Comm, B. Bus. Science, Diploma in Business Management or Financial Management 5-10 years management experience in the funeral or financial services sector Exceptional leadership and motivational skills Unendorsed Driving License and willingness to travel Computer literacy Preference given to applicants in North-West Province Please note: Candidates will undergo vetting for criminal records, adverse credit records, and qualifications authentication.
