Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and energetic General Laborer – Sales to join our dynamic team! Responsibilities
- Assist with visual merchandising, including planogram implementation and visual design to enhance product displays
- Support store management with inventory control, stocking, and material handling equipment operation
- Engage with customers by providing friendly service, answering questions, and facilitating sales through effective communication skills
- Operate cash registers (POS systems), handle cash and perform cashiering duties accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store environment, including cleaning and stockroom management
- Use mobile devices for inventory tracking, pricing updates, and client communication
- Support remodeling or interior design projects by assisting with setup and material handling as needed
Qualifications
- Previous retail store experience or merchandising background is preferred
- Demonstrated supervisory experience or leadership qualities are a plus
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator is advantageous for visual design tasks
- Multilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases
- Knowledge of schematics, planograms, and visual merchandising techniques is beneficial
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks, heavy lifting, and ladder use safely
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and store operations
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Basic math skills for pricing, retail math calculations, and cash handling
- Experience in customer service, retail sales, or store management is desirable
- Ability to operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment
