Job description
As the Night Hatchery Production person in Beatrice, Nebraska you will work in a live animal facility. Duties may include sanitation, egg handling, hatch preparation, hatches, general labor and general clean up. This position also entails box making, stacking, packing and other duties as assigned.
· Starting rate of pay $22.00 per hour
. Training is provided on the day shift for aprox 2 weeks
. Night shifts start at 6:45 PM
. Must be able to work with minimal supervision
. Wage Reviews – twice a year in May and November
· Average work week is 40-45+ hours
· Days of operation: Monday – Friday
· Work with hatched turkeys (poults) in a state-of-the-art hatchery
· Maintain proper handling for the safety of the hatched turkeys (poults)
· Meet all the operating procedures as outlined by company policy
· Other duties as assigned
Do you have the following requirements?
· No experience required, on the job training is provided
· Must have own transportation to and from work
· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure
· Ability to handle moderate to heavy physical work, repetitive work
· Ability to complete general labor tasks as assigned
· Ability to stand for extended periods of time
· Some computer knowledge is an asset but not required
