General Laborer – Installer Jobs in Plantsville, CT at New England Liner Systems
Job Summary
We are looking for general laborers for work scheduled from the current date until approximately late November to early December. Wage starts at $25/hr with perdiem at $50 per day. Sites typically located in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. Hotel/Housing is paid by employer.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing site, materials, and equipment for commencement of installation.
- Provide general assistance in areas required by supervisor or fellow laborers.
- Pulling material (Liner/Geosynthetic material) from rolls and placing in predetermined spots in order to assemble the liner system.
- Complete assembly of project and dispose of any waste unable to be used for other projects.
- Keep yourself healthy. This job requires intense physical labor on slopes typically rated at a 3:1 scale.
- Requirements
- Proper PPE (high-traction steel-toed work boots, hard hat*, safety glasses*, work gloves*, high vis work shirt*) (*= can be provided if necessary)
- OSHA 10 minimum training. If not OSHA certified, training can be done at the company office.
Optional (but in demand): Capable of driving in the United States and in possession of a valid, up to date drivers license (must be 21 years or older to drive company vehicle)
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
