General Assistant (Engineering) Jobs in Graaff-Reinet at Montego Pet Nutrition
Responsibilities:
Repair and Maintenance Tickets
Respond to allocated Tickets logged with the Stores Controller
Check availability of material to complete the assigned job and request products to be purchased if required.
Assist with the collection of products if requested
Complete assigned tasks whilst adhering to safety requirements
Send before and after pictures of completed repairs to the Stores Controller to confirm the quality of work completed
Routine Repair and Maintenance Checks
Complete routine checks and identify the need for ongoing repairs and maintenance
Provide feedback to the Stores Controller
Identify repairs and maintenance to be attended to by Electrical or Mechanical Departments
Hygiene, Housekeeping and Occupational Health and Safety
Adherence to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) as well as Food Safety Standards (FSSC 22000)
Identify health and safety hazards and implement corrective and preventative measures
Report hazards or risks to Management
Adhere to personal hygiene standards
Keep the working area clean and tidy at all times.
Keep working areas, tools and equipment clean and tidy
Check that tools are in good working order and report any damages to the manager
Safely store tools and equipment
National Senior Certificate
Valid Driver’s License
Knowledge of the different tools and machinery
Knowledge of safe working procedures
