Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist with food preparation and serving of meals. Set up and replenish food counters and beverage stations. Maintain cleanliness of kitchens, dining areas, equipment, and workstations. Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Receive, unpack, and store stock according to company procedures. Assist with stock rotation and minimize wastage. Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and health and safety standards. Support catering functions, meetings, and special events as required. Deliver professional and friendly customer service at all times. Skills and CompetenciesBasic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible shifts when required. Reliable, punctual, and well-presented. Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a catering, hospitality, corporate dining, or food service environment will be advantageous.
