Section Manager. The role will be responsible for to optimise the mining operation and to continuously improve current practices, methods, equipment and processes in order to exceed current production targets and reduce costs to the company and to ensure compliance of provisions of the Mine Health and Safety Act, Minerals Act and its Regulations. The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
• BSc Mining related Degree
• 5 years appointed GCC Engineer (2.13.1/2.13.3.1 or 2.14.1)
• Government Certificate of Competency (GCC Mines and Works)
• 8 years’ experience in coal mining.
