About Games Global Bursary
Games Global is currently accepting applications for 2025 academic year bursaries.
Bursaries will be awarded for Bachelor’s or Honours degree studies, within the following fields:
Animation
Computer Science
Data Analysis
Graphic Design
Mathematics
Software Development
The bursary will provide financial assistance for tuition fees and other study-related expenses. Games Global will fund your studies until you complete your degree.
Students will also have the opportunity to partake in paid Vac Work at Games Global offices in Cape Town or Durban, gain industry experience, mentorship, and job placements within the company after graduation.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying:
You must be a South African citizen
You must be under 35 years old
You must have completed Matric with a minimum result of 80% for Mathematics and a minimum result of 75% for 3 other Matric subjects
You must be studying towards a Bachelor’s or Honours degree qualification, within one of the fields of study listed above
You must be studying at a recognised and accredited university in South Africa
You must have achieved a minimum overall average of 80% for the current academic year
