All-Clad MetalCrafters LLC is seeking a Fully Skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician for our Maintenance department to perform electrical troubleshooting / repairs / installation of equipment used in the manufacturing of high-quality cookware. This candidate will also be able to ensure that plant equipment operates in an efficient and safe manner.

The Maintenance Technician will ensure that work is in accordance with state/local codes, complies with all safety regulations, company policies and follows all Lock Out/Tag Out procedures. This position works in conjunction with others to maintain all facilities and production equipment at the Canonsburg facility which includes but is not limited to electrical circuits, AC / DC controls, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment / parts.

Essential Functions

Specific duties of the Fully Skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Troubleshooting skills for plant equipment.
  • Capable of diagnosing machinery defects / issues.
  • Capable of performing electrical repairs per diagnosed deficiencies.
  • Working knowledge of electrical/mechanical print reading/revision.
  • Basic fabrication techniques/skills/projects.
  • Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical safety.
  • Informs Supervisor of machine deficiencies and/or misuse, abuse, or mis-operation.
  • Maintains all plant equipment in a safe condition, including inspection/proper operation of equipment safety devices.
  • Maintains a clean and hazard free work area.
  • Performs assigned maintenance tasks in a safe and expedient manner.
  • Documents all work, calls, etc. via issued work orders using computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Works to any/all standards set forth by management.
  • Responsible for following all company safety regulations including but not limited to: wearing safety glasses; safety shoes; gloves; proper work clothing; and proper work practices.
  • Be physically fit and capable of performing job functions.
  • Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma and/or GED required
  • Prior experience working with/troubleshooting AC/DC circuits, electrical distribution, motors, starters, frequency drives, electrical panel/boxes, fuses, IEC components, 120V-480V lighting, grounding, etc. is a requirement.
  • Must provide documentation of passing Ramsey Test, Electrical Maintenance Apprenticeship, or other company specific certifications.
  • All qualified candidates will be required to pass pre-employment drug screen, 1 hour physical fitness test and criminal background check
  • Must be able to work swing shift (alternating weeks of days and evenings) and/or steady midnight shift, typically 8-12 hours per day
  • Must be able to work extended daily overtime and/or weekends required as needed

Working Environment

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee must on occasion be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to move freely through the manufacturing facility and between buildings.
  • Must be able to stand for much of the shift and be capable of performing job functions.
  • The employee is required to wear mandatory PPE and follow documented safety guidelines while performing the duties of this job, as they will be exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, sharp objects and industrial chemicals used in the manufacturing of metal products.
  • The employee is regularly exposed to high noise and dusty environments.

Pay: $26.89 – $32.38 per hour
