Role Description The Freelance Graphic Designer will work in a full-time, remote capacity to create visual assets that support MacmotechZA’s digital products and brand initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing graphics for web interfaces, marketing materials, and social media, as well as developing logos and brand elements that align with client requirements. The role involves collaborating with developers and project managers to ensure visual consistency across applications, applying typography principles, and preparing assets optimized for digital use. The designer will also refine existing designs based on feedback, maintain brand guidelines, and manage project timelines and deliverables independently.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Graphics and Graphic Design for digital products and marketing materials.
- Experience in Logo Design and Branding to create cohesive visual identities.
- Proficiency in Typography and layout design for clear, accessible communication.
- Advanced knowledge of industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, or similar).
- Demonstrated portfolio showcasing web graphics, logos, and brand systems.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with designing for web interfaces and understanding of basic UI/UX principles is a plus.
