Are you a skilled Forwarding Controller with a solid background in international freight?
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with 5+ years of experience in a similar role, who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and process international freight orders (Sea and Air)
Liaise with overseas agents regarding shipment status and vessel details
Calculate and confirm sell rates, and process relevant shipping documents
Ensure all documentation is in order for customs clearance
Communicate with shipping lines, airlines, and freight agents
Provide regular status updates to clients
Troubleshoot logistics issues and proactively resolve delays
Requirements:
Essential Experience:
Imports (70%): Sea and Air Freight
Exports (30%): Sea and Air Freight
Minimum 5 years in a freight forwarding environment
Strong understanding of end-to-end logistics and customs processes
Excellent communication and client service skills
Ability to manage multiple shipments and meet tight deadlines
