Position: Forklift F1 / F2A+Kâ Material Handler
Requirements: (Knowledge & Skills)
The person should be a self-starter with good communication skills, able to work in teams. The candidate should have strong attention to detail, high numerical and written accuracy, and be attentive to detail.
Grade 12 or equivalent with Mathematics
Good hand-eye coordination
Knowledge of company safety regulations
Matric with Pure Mathematics — NOT NEGOTIABLE
Ability to physically pull pallets
Ability to load and unload stock into trucks for multiple deliveries daily
Medically fit
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Pick materials for production according to the production picking lists, ensuring timely and complete delivery to production. Report and document any material shortages in real-time. Ensure accurate quantities and correct material codes.
Offload multiple daily deliveries, completing all required documentation accurately.
Possess a valid Forklift License (Code F1A / F2A + K).
Perform and maintain general housekeeping to ensure food safety and EHS compliance within the work area.
Adhere to all EHS and food safety policies and procedures at all times.
Complete daily and weekly food safety inspections relevant to the area within the RMS.
Report faults and breakdowns of forklifts and equipment to the store person.
Maintain cleanliness of forklift machinery and the general work area daily.
Perform ad hoc duties as required.
Work in shifts, including weekends.
Conduct mandatory monthly cycle counts of all materials in RMS.
