Job Summary
We are seeking an individual capable of organizing the flow of work through our lamination stamping facility. Supervises and coordinates activities of employees in press room, annealing, welding, assembly, maintenance, die maintenance and shipping/receiving areas by performing the following duties:.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Works with die setup people, die maintenance, annealing, welding and assembly to execute production schedules to meet customer requirements. Coordinates activities of individual departments to ensure adherence to schedules. Provides a weekly priority list of needed inspections or metal testing to Quality Control.
Keeping track of current raw material inventories, expected deliveries and informing the CFO when deliveries are tracking.
Provide weekly schedules and daily updates as needed to pressrooms, annealing, assembly (bonding and welding) and shipping departments. Coordinating with all for a smooth flow of work. Must be able to adjust production schedules to accommodate customer’s ever-changing needs.
Maintain awareness of the status of all production equipment (presses, annealing ovens, etc.)
Ensure that the Inspection department gets first and last pieces of a production tun, as well as samples from the annealing department for testing.
Work with maintenance personnel to resolve issues; know the status of facility systems (heating, air conditioning, compressors, etc.)
Interprets and enforces company policies, including safety and regulatory requirements. Provides training to employees, as required.
Work with Microsoft Office software and update the company’s google sheets with the end-of-day information for all production departments.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises maintenance, die maintenance, shipping/receiving personnel, annealing supervisor, assembly supervisor, die setup persons, welding operators and off-shift supervisors. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
At least 10 years’ related experience in manufacturing in a supervisory position
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GDT). Ability to function in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor in all communications with employees and customers. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities are necessary.
Standard Work Hours
06:00 – 1630 Monday – Friday
Additional Responsibilities:
Second and Third shift personnel consisting of (1) Annealing furnace operator.

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
