Job Title:
Workshop Foreman – Automotive Dealership (Fourways, Johannesburg)
- Oversee daily workshop operations within an automotive dealership environment in Fourways, Johannesburg
- Supervise, guide, and support a team of automotive technicians
- Allocate and prioritise jobs based on technician skill level and workload
- Ensure all repairs and services are completed accurately and within deadlines
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control on all vehicles
- Diagnose complex mechanical and technical issues when required
- Provide technical assistance and on-the-job training to technicians
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, dealership policies, and warranty procedures
- Enforce health and safety regulations within the workshop
- Monitor workflow efficiency to maximise productivity and turnaround times
- Promote teamwork, discipline, and a positive working environment
- Liaise with service advisors and management regarding job progress and updates
- Handle workshop challenges and resolve technical or operational issues effectively
- Support continuous improvement and skill development within the team
- Must have a valid Red Seal Trade Certificate (Motor Mechanic / Automotive Trade)
