Responsibilities
:
Food Science Degree
Product application trials on new products.
Development of products and new markets; customer training.
On-site testing and evaluation of products as required by clients.
New product development for butchers and large factories in the interests of generating new markets;
Liaising with customers along with Senior Food Technologists.
Technical advisory services to butchers including consulting on product quality.
Production capacities and efficiencies.
Implementation of quality control/assurance systems in order to increase production output and shelf life of products.
Researching potential new markets for new business.
Analyzing and reporting on sales leads linked to clients.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in food science, nutrition, or a related field
3+ years of experience in the food industry
Key Skills
Strong technical skills, including knowledge of food chemistry, food processing, and food safety
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and presentation skills
