Duties

Follow up with suppliers to ensure that for all JAB orders placed the supplier have provided us with written confirmation that the pricing, quantity and delivery windows are correct.

Daily monitoring of suppliers outstanding orders. Monitoring the progress of deliveries and do follow-up to ensure that stock is delivered within dates stipulated.

Provide feedback to planners, buyers and logistics manager.

Ensure follow up procedures are followed for new stores.

Contact suppliers to advise them to open new store accounts on their systems.

Handling suppliers’ delivery issues at stores as and when requested by supplier.

If necessary, then reach out to operations in order to resolve any issues with space or delays encountered at store level.

Assisting suppliers with outstanding GRV issues/queries if and when required.

Amend suppliers’ delivery windows on the system when approved by planner or logistics manager.

Assisting to maintain suppliers contact and email addresses on the Order management system.

Assisting with any internal/external audit requests regarding historical orders and supplier confirmations.

Assisting and supporting the logistics Team with any other logistics matters as and when required.

Experience:

2-3 years’ experience in supply chain processes will be beneficial

Good communication skills.

Able to multitask

Requirements:

Gr 12 – Matric

Skilled in Excel and Microsoft office.

Good organisation and communications skills
