Ride’s Driver onboarding experience is designed to guide applicants through the information and verification steps required before Driver access can be considered.
Depending on the final market, legal requirements, provider configuration, and platform readiness, onboarding may include:
Submitting information does not guarantee Driver approval. Ride must verify required operational, insurance, safety, and eligibility conditions before allowing Driver go-live access.
Onboarding may include
- Account and contact information — Basic account setup and contact details.
- Identity confirmation — Identity verification steps required for Driver eligibility.
- Driver profile photograph — A professional profile image for the Driver experience.
- Valid Driver license information — License details required for operational review.
- Vehicle make, model, year, and color — Vehicle profile information shown to Riders when active.
- Vehicle registration — Registration documentation where required.
- Insurance information — Insurance details required for eligibility review.
- Required acknowledgments and policies — Policy acknowledgments tied to Driver participation.
- Background and driving-history review where required — Reviews conducted where required by market and provider configuration.
- Document expiration and renewal checks — Ongoing checks for expired or renewed documents.
