Introduction
Empire Bricks is looking for an experienced and organised Fleet Manager to join our team in Bloemfontein.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating fleet-related activities, ensuring that vehicles are managed efficiently, safely and effectively. This is a fast-paced environment that requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the company’s vehicle fleet and related activities.
- Ensure vehicles are maintained, serviced and kept in good working condition.
- Coordinate fleet operations and monitor vehicle usage.
- Ensure compliance with relevant fleet, safety and operational requirements.
- Assist with planning and coordinating vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Monitor fleet-related costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate fleet records and documentation.
- Work closely with drivers, management and relevant service providers.
- Handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Assist in working out load weights and join invoices to fit correctly on loads.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Previous fleet management experience is essential.
- Relevant field expertise and practical fleet knowledge.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
