Fleet Manager Jobs in Johannesburg at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
The Fleet Department provides management and oversight of all Fleet Services and supervision of Fleet processes in Africa South Area. This position oversees fleet planning, vehicle purchases, certifying drivers, maintenance, repairs and selling vehicles. This position also ensures that fleet policies are appropriately followed, appropriate work quality is accomplished, and that global fleet performance metrics are achieved.
Oversee and train Mission Fleet Coordinators in all fleet related processes
Manage and oversee all aspects of fleet services, including exceptional customer service
Manage other fleet personnel, including Fleet Coordinators and Fleet Admin Assistants as needed
Promote the usage of global vehicle contracts and promote the establishment and usage of local contracts
Ensure compliance to vehicle registration and legal requirements of the government within the jurisdiction
Must be worthy of Temple Recommend.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Automotive Technology or other related degree and 6 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience should demonstrate broad working ability to administer fleet processes and vendor relationships including negotiation skills.
Has excellent data analysis and research skills. Ability to use Microsoft Office programs is essential.
Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form. Demonstrates strong acumen in providing support and training.
Ability to make sound financial decisions and communicate appropriately to Church ecclesiastical leadership.
Must be able to travel as required.
