Key Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) essential.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Fleet Controller within the transport, logistics, or road freight industry.
- Experience managing heavy vehicle operations and fleet tracking systems.
- Strong knowledge of transport regulations, vehicle compliance, and fleet administration.
- Ability to coordinate multiple vehicles, drivers, and deliveries simultaneously.
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office and fleet management systems.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and track vehicle movements using fleet management systems.
- Plan daily transport schedules, routes, and vehicle allocations.
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations, vehicle servicing, and maintenance schedules.
- Liaise with drivers, customers, and workshop teams to resolve operational issues.
- Monitor fuel usage, driver performance, and fleet efficiency.
- Maintain accurate fleet records, documentation, and compliance reports.
- Coordinate vehicle servicing, inspections, and breakdown assistance.
- Compile fleet performance reports and support continuous operational improvement.

Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric) essential.
- Relevant qualification in Logistics, Transport Management, or Supply Chain is advantageous.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Fleet Controller or in a similar role.
- Experience within the transport, logistics, or road freight industry.
- Knowledge of fleet tracking and transport management systems.
- Experience with Side Tipper and/or PBS vehicles is advantageous.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel.
- Valid driver's licence is advantageous.
