A Wholesale Distribution Company is looking to appoint a Fleet Controller to work in their Fleet Management Department:
Primary Purpose of Position:
Monitoring Fleet Camera Systems.
Proposing and Implementing Operational Systems to optimise fleet operations to improve overall business operations.
Minimize Risk by monitoring, establishing and proposing remedial action for fleet.
Tracking vehicle locations by GPS system.
Monitoring driver performance.
Answering driver calls and assist where required.
Identifying on-road exceptions and taking immediate remedial action.
Co-ordinating and responding to emergency situations.
Liaising with drivers, operations personnel and management.
Minimum Educational and Experience Requirements:
Matric
3 or more years’ of experience working in a similar and relevant position and environment.
Strong understanding of maps and giving accurate directions.
Ability to learn new computer and systems fast.
