A leading manufacturer and premier FMCG brand is looking for aFinancial Managerto join their finance team inGeorge, Western Cape.
The Financial Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations of the business, ensuring effective financial management, analysis, and reporting to support business growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing variance analysis and financial insights to management.
Manage cash flow, debt, and capital expenditure to optimize financial health.
Monitor and control costs and expenses, ensuring alignment with budgets.
Maintain the fixed asset register including depreciation, re-estimates, reconciliations, additions and disposals.
Collaborate withcross-functional teamsto provide financial insights for product development and process improvements.
Qualifications and Experience
QualifiedCA(SA)orCGMAdesignation is required.
Minimum 4 years of experience in an Accountant role or similar, with a preference for experience in a commercial/product focused environment.
Strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS.
Highattention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and excellence.
Salary
R600 000 – R960 000 CTC per annum. Highly dependent on candidate experience and qualifications.
