Position: Financial Controller – (Account Receivables)
Location: Western Cape
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Oversee the end-to-end processing of trade receivables, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage the financial cycle pertaining to products sold, ensuring proper recording, validation, and payment.
• Coordinate with partners on commissions, ensuring accurate calculations and timely disbursements.
• Assist in financial analysis and modelling
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes
• Collaborate with divisions to ensure streamlined and consistent financial processing related to trade receivables.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
• Liaise with the Financial Manager for Operations on strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the trade receivables process.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on trade receivable activities and performance.
• Handle queries and concerns related to trade receivables from internal teams and external partners.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and introduce process improvements as necessary
LEADERSHIP PERFORMANCE AREAS
• Providing real-time, ongoing coaching and feedback to team members throughout the year.
• On-time completion of performance management activities including regular 1:1s and Bi-annual performance reviews through GPS.
• Supporting employee development including facilitation of career development conversations and crafting development plans for current and future needs.
• Taking action to hire and retain high-performers and address poor performance
• Proactively manage change initiatives within the team including sufficient planning/ preparation and communication to minimise disruption and support employee adoption.
• Role modelling the behaviours that support and drive the Flash culture and values
