An exciting opportunity is available for a hands-on Financial Controller within the hospitality sector. POSITION INFO:
Our client, a well-established and growing organization within the hospitality industry, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their finance team. This opportunity is ideal for a proactive and commercially minded finance professional who can manage the full financial function while supporting operational and strategic business objectives.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the financial management of three entities, ensuring accurate reporting, effective budgeting, and strong financial governance. This role requires someone who is comfortable operating at both a strategic and operational level, with the ability to engage with various stakeholders including body corporates and senior management.
You will play a key role in delivering timely financial insights, maintaining compliance, and driving efficiencies within the finance function. This position offers excellent exposure within a dynamic hospitality environment where attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Manage month-end and year-end reporting processes, including preparation of annual financial statements.
Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts across three entities.
Compile and present monthly management reports with variance analysis.
Prepare and present body corporate packs and liaise with relevant stakeholders.
Manage the full finance function across multiple entities.
Ensure strong financial controls and governance processes are in place.
Drive process improvements and enhance financial efficiencies.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:
Relevant finance qualification (CA(SA), CIMA, or equivalent preferred)
Experience:
Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.
Experience Within The Hospitality Industry Is Essential.
Strong experience managing multiple entities.
Exposure to budgeting, financial statements, and monthly reporting.
Skills:
Strong technical accounting knowledge.
Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
