Job Title: Auditor – U.S. Audits (Remote, South Africa Based)

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Auditor to join our growing international audit team. This role is specifically focused on audits of U.S.-based entities, while the successful candidate will be based in South Africa. You will be responsible for performing high-quality audit work in accordance with U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards, while collaborating with global team members and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct audits of financial statements for U.S.-based clients across various industries.
Plan and execute audit procedures in accordance with U.S. auditing standards.
Prepare and review audit work papers, ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm standards.
Identify and communicate audit issues and recommendations to clients and team leaders.
Collaborate with U.S.-based audit teams, including audit managers and partners.
Manage timelines and deliverables across multiple clients and engagements.
Assist in the preparation of reports to management and audit committees.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, PCAOB standards, and relevant industry developments.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA (U.S.), CA(SA), or equivalent qualification strongly preferred.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in external auditing, including U.S. audit exposure.
Experience with U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and/or PCAOB standards is essential.
Familiarity with SEC reporting requirements is an advantage.
Strong working knowledge of audit software and Microsoft Office suite.
