Position: Financial Advisors (Career Advisor)
We, Sagen Advisory, are recruiting several Financial Advisors for a rapidly expanding wealth management business with a reputation for excellence. These exciting and lucrative positions are based in their head office in Durbanville, Stellenbosch. They are also in the process of expanding across the country.
The company will allow you to either build your own client base or invest in your current client base. Though new client acquisition will be an integral part of this role, the client will provide clients with service from the start.
The ideal candidate will be a financial/commercially qualified graduate, a junior financial planner, or an experienced financial planner who is seeking to join a customer focussed expanding business. The ideal candidate will also be someone who wants to build a career in the wealth management environment, who is customer focussed, service-orientated, and sales are driven.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Law, or any other related field OR Wealth Management NQF5
RE5 passed
4+ years of industry experience (actively practicing as a financial advisor “in the field”)
27+ years of age
Valid Driver’s License
Own Reliable Transport
Qualifying documents to submit
CV / Resume
6 to 12-month commission statements
Can send the pre-Covid statement as well, if available (this is to expire with entry to 1 March 2024)
Indicate an average production track record of
Average of 40, 000 production points per month over a 12-month period
5 to 10 products sold a month
Above 80% Retention ratio
Remuneration
R 0 Base Salary = 100% commission
Vesting Bonuses: earn up to 3x policy premium value on top of the commission
R 24, 000.00 Training support over 2-3 months (R 8, 000.00 per month x 3 months)
R 16, 00 interest-free Technology loan (for Laptop/tablet/phone), repayable over 24 months
30% Recurring Passive Income on Short-Term referrals (Personal and Commercial Lines)
30% Recurring Passive Income on Medical Aid & Gap Cover referrals
30% Recurring Passive Income on Employee Benefit Referrals
50% Recurring ‘Passive Income’ on all Independent Referrals (any Business signed under SFG IB)
30% per submission fee on Referrals to Lucrum for Tax Submissions, valued @ 30% x R700 = R210
Work experience Incentive
Can apply to become a cluster manager if you bring a team of 5 with you
Cluster Managers earn 5% additional comm of their team’s production
Opportunity for management experience, subject to an approved action plan
