Role description
ALG Boerdery, a leader in the citrus industry for over 100 years, has an opportunity available for an energetic and dynamic Financial Accountant to join their team based in Citrusdal. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the company's financial processes, and will report directly to the Financial Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limit to):
· Implementing and executing financial controls.
· Manage debtors and creditors.
· Financial planning and cashflow management.
· Assist in drafting of budgets and forecasts.
· Drafting of monthly financial reports and checking of all payments.
· Assist and facilitate annual financial audit(s).
· Maintaining asset register and adequate insurance and coverage.
· Ensure that the company complies with all legal and financial regulations.
· All other tasks related to this role.
Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
· Relevant qualification in Financial Management;
· 3-5 years of proven general financial management experience;
· Professional registration is recommended (e.g. SAIPA, SAICA, CIMA);
· Computer Proficiency (Xero, Pastel, Donkerhoekdata, Advanced Excel);
· Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
