A leading property finance team is looking for a highly meticulous and driven Property Accountant to join on a 7-month maternity cover contract. This fixed-term opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is ready to contribute to full-spectrum accounting and financial reporting responsibilities.
Job Description:
Maintain financial records using accounting software and spreadsheets
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Reconcile accounts and oversee cash flow and bank reconciliations
Assist in audit preparation and respond to audit queries
Produce trial balances and end-of-year balance sheets
Support budgeting processes and variance commentary
Process sales invoices, returns, and manage records of subsidiaries
Skills & Experience:
In-depth understanding of accounting principles and SA tax laws
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Ability to adapt quickly and use initiative
Qualification:
Degree in Accounting (articles preferred)
Proficient in ACCPAC, MDA, and Caseware
