Our client, a dynamic accounting firm situated in Paarl, has an exciting opportunity available for a Financial Accountant to join their team.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with an eagerness to learn and who would like to grow with the company in the financial accounting industry.
The successful candidate is a reliable individual with integrity, paired with a proactive and meticulous approach to work.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Monthly work (processing of financial records, VAT
201 submissions, etc.)
Preparing and reviewing financial statements
Tax compliance
Payroll (EMP
201s and EMP
501s)
All other ad-hoc tasks related to the position.
Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
BCom Financial Accounting, BAcc, or equivalent degree;
Experience in a similar role highly advantageous;
Excellent computer literacy (MS Office, Xero, Case Ware, Pastel);
Strong communication skills (Afrikaans and English);
Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
Commencement date:
As soon as possible.
