A premier hotel group in Johannesburg North is seeking a Financial Accountant to help keep the business running as flawlessly as its guest experience. Combining technical accounting expertise with commercial acumen, you’ll partner closely with hotel operations to deliver accurate financial reporting, drive profitability, strengthen controls, and support strategic decision-making. From overseeing month-end reporting and reconciliations to analyzing revenue performance and operational costs, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health and success of a high-performing hospitality business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial reporting and month-end processes
- Balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger management
- Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Financial controls and compliance
- Assisting with annual audits and statutory requirements
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- BCom Accounting
- SAICA/SAIPA Articles
- 3 years post articles experience
- Experience working directly in a hotel
