Financial Accountant (Rosebank)
Key Responsibilities:
Manage cashbooks and bank reconciliations for multiple companies in different currencies. Maintain the fixed assets register and process depreciation. Calculate and reconcile VAT. Process credit card transactions and employee reimbursements. Prepare and post monthly journal entries (accruals, provisions, prepayments). Keep accurate and
up-to-date
financial records. Provide financial insights and reports to management. Assist with year-end audits and financial reporting. Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping. Strong knowledge of South African financial laws and regulations.
Experience with
foreign currency transactions. Familiarity with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). Proficient in accounting software and Excel. Strong
attention to detail
and organizational skills. Good
communication skills
and the ability to work independently.
