About the role:
As a Finance Supervisor – Southern Africa, you will provide financial leadership for Herbalife’s entities across the region, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and local regulations. You will work closely with the Senior Financial Analyst and EMEA GBS team in Krakow, overseeing tax affairs, statutory accounting, and financial controls. Key responsibilities include monitoring SLAs, KPIs, and internal compliance with SOX and ethics policies. You will also collaborate with the Business Systems Support team to maintain financial systems and support ad hoc projects impacting the region.

In this role, you will:
Provide regional financial leadership for Herbalife Southern African entities in South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho, Swaziland, and Zambia, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and local statutory requirements.
Monitor financial performance, ensuring that SLAs, SPAs, and KPIs meet expected standards and taking corrective action when needed.
Oversee tax and fiscal matters, ensuring adherence to local regulations and corporate policies.
Ensure SOX compliance, working with the EMEA SOX team to maintain internal controls and financial reporting standards.
Support ethics and compliance, collaborating with the EMEA Ethics and Compliance team.
Manage financial systems, ensuring accurate reporting and timely resolution of system issues with the EMEA BSS team.
Assist with financial projects, supporting FP&A and other departments on ad hoc initiatives.
Ensure accurate financial reporting, meeting corporate deadlines and maintaining statutory records.
Manage treasury, tax, and fiscal responsibilities, including compliance with reporting requirements and monitoring distributor adherence to VAT and legal obligations.
Support inventory control, working with the EMEA Inventory and Cost of Sales team to manage financial aspects of inventory.
Develop and lead a finance team, managing performance, training, and professional development.
Our requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Financial Reporting within an international or multinational company, preferably with a US parent company.
Degree qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of indirect and direct taxes, local GAAP
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access.
Strong interpersonal skills.
A team player who can effectively manage and support colleagues.
Ability to professionally communicate with financial institutions and local staff.
Very good command of English, min. C1 level.
Our preferred experience and skillset:
Professional certification (e.g., Chartered Accountant, Certified Practicing Accountant).
Experience with a Big 4 firm.
Experience with ERP systems (preferably Oracle) – both user experience and system implementation, and consolidation system (preferably OneStream).
Knowledge of US GAAP.
