Analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and assess the company’s financial health
Select and manage capital deployments, and track the performance of investments
Create and review budgets, and collaborate with other departments to develop budgets for advertising campaigns oremployee benefitsprograms
Manage monetary risks, and develop financial management mechanisms to minimize financial risk
Strategic planning
Create strategic business plans based on the company’s status and financial forecasts
Staff management
Oversee and direct the activities of financial analysts, budget analysts, and other finance and accounting professionals
Communication
Advise colleagues and executive management on financial decisions, and mediate between the organization and stakeholders on financial issues
Compliance
Ensure compliance with tax and financial reporting standards, and keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation
