We’re looking for an experienced Finance Manager to work in partnership with our existing Finance Manager to co-lead our finance operations in a fast-paced, international environment. This is a newly created role designed to strengthen our finance leadership capacity as the business continues to grow.
Together, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all financial reporting, compliance, and budgeting across multiple jurisdictions, while co-managing and developing a growing team.
This is a management-level role, ideal for someone who thrives in scaling businesses, enjoys solving complex problems, and is excited to help build a best-in-class finance function. You’ll collaborate closely with our existing Finance Manager, Finance Director, cross-functional teams, and external partners to drive financial accuracy, integrity, and control.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Management
Work collaboratively with the existing Finance Manager to lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
Deliver accurate and timely reporting through shared leadership.
Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and foster a high-performance culture.
Financial Reporting & Control
Prepare and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.
Ensure the accuracy of all financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheets, cash flow, and equity statements.
Support consolidation of financials across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
Manage the relationship with external auditors and support audit readiness.
Compliance & Regulatory Filings
Ensure compliance with local and international tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements.
Liaise with external accountants and advisors to meet statutory obligations across regions.
Process Improvement & Controls
Design, implement, and maintain strong financial controls.
Identify and lead process improvements, driving automation and efficiency.
Ensure the integrity of data within financial systems (e.g., Xero).
Budgeting, Forecasting & Business Support
Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with the FP&A function.
Deliver accurate financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and financial discipline across the business.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Fully qualified accountant (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CA(SA), ACA) – part-qualified candidates will not be considered
4-5+ years of relevant experience, including financial reporting and compliance in a multi-entity or international business
Prior experience managing a finance team is essential
Strong understanding of IFRS/GAAP, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements
Proficiency with financial systems (Xero preferred) and advanced Excel skills
