Position Purpose :
Define and manage execution of the finance for EPA in line with global and local requirements, national and industry legislation and regulations and relevant SOP’s.
Principal Responsibilities:
Day-to-day accounting and review of books of account, as per IFRS and local GAAP on monthly basis
Monthly financial reporting of Actual vs budget and estimate to Parent Company internationally and Local Management
Consolidation of accounts and preparation of financial statements as per IFRS and local GAAP
Proficiency in accounting, taxation and financial reporting.
Preparation and review of SOPs related to Finance & Accounts function
Shall have experience in SAP accounting
Timely filing of statutory returns and making statutory payments related to direct and indirect taxes
Co-ordination with cross functions in setting prices of products
Ensuring timely closure of audits for reporting to Parent Company and regulatory bodies
Timely processing of payroll journal
Dealing with cross-border transactions. Having experience in handling import & export transactions is a must.
Must be able to handle transfer pricing regulations and audits
Ensuring correct accounting principle are applied in the organization by finance

Preferably Chartered Accountant from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountant
MBA in Finance will be advantageous
A minimum of 5 years work experience in pharmaceutical company or similar
