OracleMed Health, established in 2001, a leader in the medical health insurance industry across Africa, is looking for an experienced Chief Operations Officer. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate proven experience as detailed below
Responsibilities
• Full Audit Compliance
• Tax- Fiscal Administration requirements up to date
• Budgets – Track performance
• Cashflow Management
• Control of Costs- Costs within parameters and budgets
• Monthly reporting:
o To the Board
o To Underwriters
o To In-Country Insurance Partners
• Introduction and Maintenance of Internal Controls
• Credit Control
• Managing Policy Administration Process
• Claims Department – Managing claims process, data capture, payments
• Staff:
o Attracting and retaining staff
o Providing training and development opportunities
• Assessing Financial and Operational risks
• Monitor Product profitability
Required skills and qualifications
• Qualified CA
• Five or more years of experience in executive leadership roles
• Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
• Strong communication skills
Remuneration:
• Should presently be earning in excess of ZAR 1.5 million
• Market related commensurate to experience
