Metal Fabrication Equipment Distributor Seeking Skilled Field Service Technician
Gladwin Machinery Solutions, LLC, is a leading distributor of top-tier metal fabrication equipment. We are looking for a dedicated, highly skilled individual to join our team for a long-term career opportunity. This role involves installing, commissioning, training, maintaining, and repairing our equipment brands across Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert-level technical support, including machine installations, customer training, and equipment demonstrations
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, from diagnosis to repair
- Work independently and collaboratively within our service team
Qualifications:
- Strong background in electronics/electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Proficiency with PCs, industrial controls, and PLCs
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and assembly drawings
- Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical, electro-mechanical, servo-electric, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Self-motivated with a professional, customer-focused approach
- Experience in metal fabrication or machining is a plus
While we prefer candidates with extensive experience, we offer a robust training program for highly motivated individuals with at least 3 years’ field service experience who are eager to grow with us.
Travel Requirements:
- Primarily serving Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula
- Limited travel to our facilities in Minneapolis, Milwaukee, St. Louis, or Kansas City
- Potential international travel for product training
- Must possess (or be able to obtain) an unrestricted driver’s license

- Ideal candidates should reside within 45 minutes of Menomonee Falls, WI
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive hourly pay: $35.00+ based on experience and qualifications

Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Typical hours: 7 AM – 5 PM, with occasional overtime
- In-person work setting (no remote option)

Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in field service (required)
- Ideal backgrounds include Machine Tool Service, Laser Technician, Press Brake Service, Robotics Field Service, or Sheet Metal Fabrication Equipment Service
