Field Service Technician

A leading water technology company specializing in irrigation seeks the service of a young enthusiastic, self-motivated field service technician (electrician/millwright) to service their customers
Minimum requirements:
- Grade 12
- Qualification:
Electrical, Millwright or electromechanical trade (N2/N3), megatronics diploma or degree
- MUST have a valid drivers’ license
- MUST be fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English (Non negotiable)
- Must have at least 2 years working experience as a Field Service Technician or Electrical Technician
- Experience in AC Variable Speed Drives and Soft Starters (motor controls), Programmable Logic relays, PC Networking, Instruments, Hydraulic Valves and Hydraulic Controls
- Will be conducting on site visits to carry out fault finding and servicing of existing automation and control products and systems
- Will be conducting installation, set-up, testing and commissioning of new automation and control products as well as pump motor control panels
- Must be willing to travel within the region
- Must be willing to provide training on newly installed and existing control and automation systems
