Field Sales Rep – Home Energy (California)
You get a territory. We fill it with appointments. You build the rest.
Elevation Energy is America’s Home Energy Partner active in 42 hubs across 5 states. Solar, battery storage, EV charging, generators, and electrical work.
You’re not selling $50 gadgets. You’re selling $10,000 – $150,000+ home upgrades. And you’re not chasing strangers across the state you get one territory, close to where you live, and you own it.
Your territory
When you’re certified, you get assigned a territory near your home. That’s your area. Not shared, not rotated, not whoever-answers-first.
Here’s how it works:
- We seed it. Our call center books appointments in your territory and hands them to you. That’s your floor real sits on the calendar every week whether you do anything else or not. Most reps never get that anywhere else.
- You grow it. Every home you sit in is a chance to get referrals. Neighbors watch installs go up. You knock the two houses on either side. You follow up with the people who said “not right now” six months ago.
- You get paid more on what you generate. Deals you bring in yourself pay a higher commission than the ones we hand you.
- It compounds. Year one you’re mostly running our appointments. By year two, good reps have a book of business in their own zip codes that keeps producing on its own.
The company leads are your base pay. Your territory is your upside.
What you actually do
Drive to a scheduled appointment in your area. Take photos of the home and panel. Walk the homeowner through the paperwork. Submit it in our app. That’s it for the first 10–12 appointments.
After that, you run the full presentation and close your own deals.
How you get trained
- 3-day certification to start
- You ride with a top closer on live appointments not a classroom
- Daily coaching after that
- We record real presentations (with consent) so you can watch yourself and fix what’s costing you deals
- You don’t pitch solo until a veteran scores you 90%+ on 10+ practice runs. We don’t throw you in front of a customer to fail.
Pay
- Higher commission on deals you self-generate in your territory
- Commission on every company-provided appointment you close
- Commission starts during training
- $0.76 per mile, every appointment, every day
- No cap

You’ll do well here if you
- Have talked to strangers for a living bartending, serving, retail, rideshare, gym sales, collections
- Show up on time, every time

- Are comfortable with a tablet and/or laptop
Requirements
Valid license. Reliable vehicle. Available some evenings and weekends. Comfortable driving to several homes a day.

Pay: $73,232.00 – $108,324.00 per year
