Responsibilities
Achievement of Sales Targets: Drive sales by understanding targets per store, brand, and LSM, and break these into measurable increments. Increase store volumes by identifying fast vs slow movers, and adjust forward share accordingly. Manage promotions, negotiate store space, identify cross-merchandising opportunities, monitor stock levels and pricing, manage stock effectively, minimize credit notes and returns, and develop strategies to increase sales.
Plan and implement sales operations based on sales data analysis, ensure timely promotional activities, and monitor call center orders.
Promotion and POS Management: Negotiate POS material and space, ensure implementation of planograms, manage promotional grids, communicate activities, and ensure staff understand promotion mechanics.
Distribution of Lines: Negotiate new store listings, monitor distribution and sales of new lines, and provide competitor feedback.
Stakeholder Management: Build relationships, provide feedback, conduct review meetings, and respond to client and customer inquiries effectively.
Minimum Requirements
4-5 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in an FMCG environment at a managerial or supervisory level.
Diploma or Degree/NQF level 6 or 7 in Sales/Marketing.
Drivers License (code
8).
Skills in Sales Management, Negotiation, Data analysis, Computer literacy, Business acumen, Commercial awareness, Attention to detail, and Communication (verbal & written).
