Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Fibre Technician at Velocity Fibre. We are looking for qualified technicians nationally. The Fibre Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fibre optic cables and networks, conducting tests to ensure connections are working properly, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
Qualifications
Experience in fibre optic cable installation, maintenance, and repair
Knowledge of fibre optic technology and equipment
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork skills
Certifications in fibre optic technology or related field
