Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive primary care services, perform assessments, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans to promote optimal patient health. Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status and identify medical conditions.
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements.
- Manage acute and chronic illnesses, including providing urgent care interventions when necessary.
- Perform diagnostic procedures such as venipuncture, injections, suturing, and basic wound care to support patient recovery.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Cerner for accurate documentation of patient encounters and medical records.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, medication administration, and lifestyle modifications for improved well-being.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner with current certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
- Experience working in primary care settings with proficiency in medical office procedures and EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth.
- Demonstrated knowledge of physiology, pharmacology, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Skilled in performing clinical procedures including IV infusion, catheterization, sterile processing, and basic life support (BLS).
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Critical care experience or hospital medicine background preferred; experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, behavioral health, or hospice & palliative medicine is a plus.
- Knowledge of CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), Workers’ Compensation law, and HIPAA compliance is desirable.
- Ability to handle fast-paced environments such as urgent care or emergency room settings; experience with telehealth platforms is advantageous.

Pay: $101,665.70 – $122,436.12 per year
