External Sales – Steel Trader
Location:
Capetown
Salary: R30 000 – R45 000
CTC plus commission
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 Certificate
Valid Drivers’ License
A diploma in sales or a similar qualification would be advantageous
5 years of steel trader experience.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Handling all enquiries, quoting and follow-ups.
Building long-term relationships with key customers
Developing knowledge of core products, pricing, suppliers, and rebate structures.
Managing specific selected accounts
Awareness of the status of each order (from A-Z) and keeping customers updated on a regular basis right through to dispatch.
Providing weekly GP reports
Maintaining best practice with regards to stock control
Taking full responsibility for unallocated stock associated with specific deals.
Completing weekly unallocated stock reports
Quote on enquiries using SA Steel suppliers.
Arrange logistics along with support staff.
